Terms of Service

ugcvid turns a product link or photo you provide into short, AI-generated user-generated-content (UGC) style videos. Videos are created by AI models; the people shown in them are synthetic and do not depict real individuals.

ugcvid is available at ugcvid.io and in the ugcvid mobile app. Both use the same account system, so these terms apply to both.

ugcvid is built on AI models and cloud infrastructure from third-party providers. Your use of ugcvid is also subject to those model providers’ usage rules, as described in section 5.

You can sign up with Google, with an email address and password, or (in the mobile app) with Apple. You must be at least 18 years old, give accurate information, and keep your sign-in details secure. You are responsible for all activity on your account.

Your account is shared across the website and the mobile app: signing in with the same method on either one gives you the same account, with the same credit balance, products, videos and history. Videos you generate on one appear on the other.

One free signup bonus is available per person and email address, across web and app combined. Creating accounts to collect it more than once is not allowed.

Generating videos uses credits. New accounts receive free credits once (for email sign-ups, after the email address is verified). Paid plans add credits each billing period; unused credits do not roll over and reset to your plan’s allowance at each renewal. Yearly plans grant the full year’s credits up front. Credits have no cash value and cannot be transferred or exchanged.

On the website, payments are processed by Dodo Payments, acting as merchant of record. In the mobile app, purchases are made through the Apple App Store or Google Play and are also subject to their terms. Because your account is shared, credits bought on either one can be used on both; a new purchase or plan renewal on one sets your balance to that plan’s allowance.

Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel at any time and keep access until the end of the paid period; cancel web plans from your ugcvid account and app plans from your App Store or Google Play settings. Credits held for a video that fails to generate are returned to your balance.

All payments are final and non-refundable, including for unused credits and partially used billing periods, except where a refund is required by applicable law. Refunds for app-store purchases are handled by Apple or Google under their policies.

You keep ownership of the product links, images and text you provide (“inputs”). You confirm you have the right to use them, including any brand names, logos and product images. You give us permission to process your inputs, including with our AI and infrastructure providers, only to provide the service to you.

Subject to these terms and your payment of any applicable fees, you may use the videos you generate for any lawful purpose, including commercial and paid advertising. Because AI output is not always unique, similar content may be produced for other users.

AI output is provided without any promise that it is original or free of third-party rights. Before you publish a video, it is your responsibility to check that it doesn’t infringe anyone’s trademark, copyright, likeness or other rights, and that any claims in it are true.

You agree not to use ugcvid to create, upload or distribute content that:

• sexualizes, exploits or harms children or minors in any way;
• is sexually explicit, or shows anyone’s likeness in a sexual or intimate way without their consent;
• uses a real person’s name, image, voice or likeness without their consent, including to impersonate them or suggest they endorse a product;
• is deceptive or fraudulent, including scams, false health, financial or product claims, or fake reviews and testimonials presented as genuine;
• threatens, harasses, bullies or incites violence, or is hateful or discriminatory toward protected groups;
• supports terrorism, trafficking, sexual violence, self-harm or other serious harm;
• infringes anyone’s intellectual property, privacy or publicity rights;
• includes other people’s sensitive personal data (such as health, financial or biometric data) without a lawful basis;
• promotes illegal products or activities, or breaks advertising platform rules or advertising law.

Your inputs and videos are processed by third-party AI models, so you also agree to follow the usage policies of the companies that make them. If they conflict with these terms, the stricter rule applies:

• ByteDance / BytePlus GenAI Acceptable Use Policy (video generation)
• Google Generative AI Prohibited Use Policy (image generation)
• Anthropic Usage Policy (scripts and product analysis)

You may not use ugcvid or its output to build, train or improve a competing AI model or service, to try to recreate the data the underlying models were trained on, to get around safety filters, or to access the underlying models directly. You also agree not to abuse, overload, reverse-engineer or resell the service.

You are responsible for the ads you publish, including any disclosure that content is AI-generated where platforms or laws require it. We may review, block or remove content, suspend accounts, and report illegal content (including any child sexual abuse material) to the authorities. To report misuse, email support@ugcvid.io.

We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms, without refund. You can delete your account at any time; deleting it removes it from both the website and the app. See Delete account.

ugcvid is provided “as is”. AI output can be imperfect, and we do not guarantee any particular result, ad performance or uninterrupted availability. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Trimb AI and its AI and infrastructure providers against claims, losses and costs arising from your inputs, the videos you publish, or your breach of these terms or of the policies in section 5.

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute relating to them or to ugcvid is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India, without affecting any mandatory consumer rights you have where you live.

We may update these terms; if the changes are material we will notify you by email or in the app before they take effect. How we handle personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.
